My name is Linda and I’m a wife to my wonderful and supportive husband Chris. I’m a sister, a daughter, an aunt, a friend, but most of all… a mom.
My son Henry is 3 and he is the love of my life. He brings me joy I could not have imagined. Henry has Childhood Apraxia of Speech. As time passes and I learn more information about the disorder and the long road ahead of us, I find a need to document this journey as well as to share it with others. I hope this will be a place to connect with other parents and perhaps learn from each other, empathize, and to know there is someone else out there going through the same thing.
This blog will share links to helpful websites, techniques and activities I find, as well our personal stories along the way. I want to emphasize that I’m not a doctor, or a therapist… I’m just a mom determined to find my son’s voice.
Thank you for visiting my blog, I’d love to hear your comments.

Linda, I am so proud of you! This is awesome!!! I wish I had done this years and years ago! It is so smart that you are writing everything down. I totally get the ha to the hi! It is a huge thing, that was a good day for us too! You are inspiring me to do this too. Was it hard to start?
The walk we are doing is incredible. I am getting so many great emails and meeting local families. It really wasnt too much work. Ava is just so excited!
I hope we can talk more one day!
Say hello to Chris
I found your blog through Armada of Love. I’m doing a giveaway today on my blog for an iPad app and was out cruising for other apraxia mamas when I found your site. Your bio sounds so similar to mine! I love reading about what other parents are doing to beat this thing.
